Elvis Ikechukwu Eze is a medical doctor with interest in global health policy and advocacy. He has experience in health system strengthening advocacy working particularly across the Commonwealth. He is focused on malaria elimination, and is currently the Youth Ambassador for Malaria No More UK through which he speaks and engages at high level platforms to mobilise resources to end Malaria. Elvis is a leisure long distance runner, and has run the Paris, Athens and Amsterdam Marathons.
Emergency Medicine
Elvis completed medical school at the University of Lagos in Nigeria prior to working at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where he completed his rotational internship.
He has worked in the United Kingdom National Health Service as a Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinical fellow at Barts Heart Centre in London. He subsequently started specialist training in the east of England and has subspecialty interests in global health.
Ending Malaria
In 2018, Dr Elvis Eze was appointed Youth Ambassador for Malaria No More UK. Through this role, Elvis champions the fight against malaria by advocating for policy change, engaging at high level platforms and speaking to mobilise resources and support for eliminating Malaria worldwide.
